There are 2 steps to applying to be an Inc. Best Workplace:
Step 1 - Complete your company application
Submit an online company application here. Applications for 2020 Best Workplaces are open until January 24, 2020.
Step 2 - Complete the employee survey
After submitting your company application, your employees will need to complete the Quantum Best Workplace Survey.
The contact person at your company will facilitate the survey invitations for your employees online. They’ll email employees the unique survey link by uploading employee email addresses into the Quantum Workplace portal. If your employees don't have email addresses there are other ways to administer the survey. Please contact us at email@example.com.
The number of employees that respond to the survey, along with an audit of the organization's benefits are used to determine the company's overall score and ranking.
You will need to achieve employee participation based on the following percentages per size of organization for your company to be considered an honoree. (This is required in order to reach a 95 percent confidence level with a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percent).
- 50 employees or fewer = 85%
- 51 - 150 = 70%
- 151 - 500 = 50%
- 501 - 1,000 = 30%
- 1,001 - 3,000 = 15%
- 3,001 - 5,000 = 8%
- More than 5,000 = 5%
The list goes live on Inc.com early May and in the May/June print issue. All applicants will be notified via email in April if they have made the list or not. All applicants will also receive a customized company culture snapshot report, based on employee feedback.
